Role & Responsibilities

  • Process and validate monthly payroll for Swiss employees, ensuring accuracy of gross-to-net calculations, deductions and net payments.
  • Manage all statutory social insurance contributions and employer charges (coordination with AVS/AI/APG/AC/UVG/LPP frameworks) and ensure timely remittances to authorities and insurers.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports, tax and social security filings, and coordinate year‑end processes (certificates, reconciliations, audits).
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for payroll and social insurance matters with HR, Finance, payroll outsourcers and external authorities.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee queries and ad hoc adjustments (leave, benefits, terminations, cross‑border assignments).
  • Maintain and update payroll records, standards and SOPs; support audits and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
  • Support payroll-related projects and system implementations, including data migrations, testing and user acceptance.

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of Swiss payroll legislation and social insurance systems.
  • Demonstrable experience handling end-to-end payroll processes within an international corporate environment.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to regulatory compliance and reporting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities/providers.
  • Professional payroll or social insurance certification is advantageous.
