Richemont seeks a Payroll & Operations Manager for Amsterdam to oversee multi-country payroll across Benelux & Nordics regions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Benelux and Nordic countries, ensuring timely and accurate salary administration
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and local authorities on regulatory submissions and statutory filings
- Maintain comprehensive payroll documentation and records in compliance with data protection standards
- Reconcile payroll with finance systems and manage monthly close procedures
- Provide payroll support to HR teams and line managers on policy interpretation and employee queries
- Monitor payroll metrics and identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multi-country payroll management within international organizations
- Strong knowledge of Benelux and Nordic employment law, tax codes, and payroll regulations
- Proficiency in payroll management systems and HRIS platforms
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail with ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional processes
- Strong communication skills with ability to liaise across functions and countries
Skills
Experience
5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll management, ideally with exposure to multi-country operations and diverse regulatory environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. Relevant payroll or HR certifications (e.g. CIPD, Dutch HR qualifications) preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
