Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee packaging homologation and regulatory certification processes across multiple jurisdictions and brand categories
- Review and validate packaging designs for compliance with environmental, safety, and luxury industry standards
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, testing laboratories, and compliance agencies to obtain necessary certifications and approvals
- Develop and maintain packaging compliance documentation, technical specifications, and regulatory dossiers
- Collaborate with product development, design, and manufacturing teams to incorporate compliance requirements into packaging solutions
- Monitor changes in packaging regulations and standards; advise internal stakeholders on implications and necessary adjustments
- Conduct risk assessments and audits of existing packaging portfolios to identify compliance gaps
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Packaging, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience in packaging compliance, regulatory affairs, or homologation within luxury goods, consumer products, or pharmaceutical sectors
- In-depth knowledge of European, international, and industry-specific packaging regulations and standards (CE marking, REACH, RoHS, etc.)
- Familiarity with luxury brand packaging requirements and market expectations
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience in packaging compliance, regulatory engineering, or homologation processes, preferably within luxury goods, premium consumer products, or related high-standards industries.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
