Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper understanding and execution of all Maison policies and procedures within the boutique, leading compliance across the broader team
  • Implement and maintain efficient opening and closing procedures
  • Oversee proper movement of product in/out of boutique including shipments, transfers, and consignments while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses
  • Demonstrate and enforce excellent care and proper product handling; ensure appropriate packing, shipping, and receiving procedures for high-value creations
  • Oversee financial aspects of boutique sales; ensure daily transactions and proper paperwork are submitted to corporate teams timely and accurately
  • Ensure fluidity of transactional flows including e-commerce to sustain efficient business operations and seamless client experience
  • Oversee inventory control processes including daily, weekly, and monthly counts to ensure successful annual inventory
  • Partner with boutique management to monitor operating costs and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Uphold Cartier standards within the boutique environment including maintenance, vendor relationships, technology, and equipment
  • Oversee boutique supply inventory replenishment and lead Lean/5S strategies for optimal storage organization
  • Oversee operational aspects of care service responsibilities including client repair flow and monthly reconciliation
  • Lead overall success of boutique audits and implement corrective action plans in partnership with management
  • Oversee display maintenance ensuring proper visual standards, product maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills by partnering effectively with boutique management, commercial network, and corporate departments
  • Serve as key user of new operational tools and rollouts, collaborating on testing, training, and adoption
  • Consistently reach and exceed all KPIs
  • Develop fundamental brand knowledge to convey Cartier heritage and values
  • Maintain currency on industry news, local and global competition, and community connection
  • Build a transversal operations team and set expectations so all team members are responsible for operational excellence
  • Exhibit professional maturity and lead by example with authenticity and transparency
  • Inspire and engage team members by connecting them to broader operational strategies and providing clear feedback

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • 5–8 years of operations management experience in a luxury retail environment
  • Proven experience leading leaders and managing direct reports
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with technology
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong understanding of client service needs and priorities both internal and external
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative approach with ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
