Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to Maison policies and procedures within the boutique; lead and influence compliance across the broader team
- Implement and maintain efficient opening and closing procedures to establish daily operational rhythms
- Oversee all product movement—including shipments, transfers, consignments, and in-boutique distribution—while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses
- Demonstrate and enforce exemplary care and proper handling of high-value creations; ensure appropriate packing, shipping, and receiving procedures
- Oversee financial aspects of boutique sales; ensure daily transactions and documentation are submitted accurately and on schedule to corporate teams
- Monitor inventory control processes (daily, weekly, and monthly counts and stock movements) to ensure successful annual inventory cycles
- Partner with boutique management to monitor and control operating costs and ensure effective resource allocation
- Uphold Cartier standards across the boutique environment, including maintenance, vendor relationships, technology, and equipment
- Oversee boutique supply inventory and replenishment; lead implementation and maintenance of Lean/5S organizational strategies in partnership with Regional Operations Manager
- Manage operational aspects of care service responsibilities, including client repair workflows, report execution, and monthly inventory reconciliation
- Lead overall success of boutique audits; partner with management to implement and execute corrective action plans
- In partnership with boutique management, ensure consistent visual standards, product maintenance, understocking organization, and cleanliness
- Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving capabilities by collaborating effectively with boutique management, commercial networks, regional leadership, and corporate departments
- Serve as key user and champion of new operational tools and rollouts; collaborate with Regional Operations Manager and corporate teams on testing, feedback, in-boutique training, and adoption
- Consistently achieve and exceed all operational key performance indicators
- Train, develop, and motivate the operations team; facilitate idea generation and creative problem-solving; drive ongoing learning and professional development
- Deliver clear, consistent performance management feedback and ongoing coaching to ensure individual development and high team performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- 5–8 years of operations management experience in a luxury retail environment
- Proven leadership experience managing direct reports and leading other leaders
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of client service needs and priorities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks with accuracy and precision
- Ability to motivate and inspire others while building trust and accountability
