Richemont is hiring an Operations Manager in McLean, VA (Tysons Galleria) to lead boutique operations, inventory and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and optimise daily boutique operations at the Tysons Galleria location to ensure flawless client service and brand standards.
- Lead recruitment, coaching and performance management for store staff; develop training programmes focused on product knowledge and clienteling.
- Manage inventory lifecycle: stock accuracy, replenishment, transfers, receiving and cycle-count programmes to minimise shrinkage.
- Oversee visual merchandising and presentation in partnership with brand/visual teams to maximise conversion and uphold maison aesthetics.
- Drive KPIs including sales, conversion, average transaction value and client retention; prepare and present operational reports to regional leadership.
- Administer budgets, control operating expenses and support P&L-related initiatives to improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, loss-prevention procedures and health & safety standards.
- Coordinate with wholesale, logistics and brand teams to execute launches, events and client appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail operations, preferably managing a boutique or multi-function store team.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving retail KPIs and improving operational efficiency in a premium retail environment.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to stock control, loss prevention and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on high-level client service and team development.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods; valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in retail operations with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within luxury or premium retail environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, retail management or related field preferred; substantial equivalent retail experience may be accepted in lieu of formal degree.
