A. Lange & Söhne seeks a Regional Operations Manager in Dubai to lead retail operations across the Middle East and South Africa.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and forecast product demand across all markets; negotiate with headquarters to ensure optimal stock levels and implement buffer stock strategies
  • Supervise quarterly sales forecasts, product allocations, and invoicing processes to support commercial objectives
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based allocation models to optimize product distribution, boutique inventory, and replenishment requirements
  • Lead daily retail operations across all boutiques and points of sale in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and South Africa
  • Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, retail policies, and luxury service protocols
  • Conduct regular boutique visits and operational audits across the region; monitor performance against KPIs
  • Oversee inventory management and stock allocation; ensure accuracy, control, and integrity across all locations
  • Drive CRM adoption and clienteling best practices; monitor engagement metrics and client database management
  • Supervise back-office processes including credit/debit notes, stock adjustments, and intercompany transfers
  • Coordinate depot list management, events logistics, client trip arrangements, and gifts/experiences delivery
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual retail performance reports; present findings to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, luxury retail best practices, security standards, and audit requirements
  • Support boutique openings, renovations, relocations, and system implementations
  • Maintain strong operational relationships with dealer partners in Qatar, Bahrain, and South Africa; conduct business reviews
  • Manage travel across regional markets to conduct training, business reviews, and operational assessments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Luxury Management, or related field
  • Minimum 8–10 years of retail operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years in luxury retail, watchmaking, jewelry, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands
  • Proven multi-market retail management experience across both directly operated and dealer-operated networks
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis for business modeling
  • Strong understanding of luxury client expectations and retail excellence standards
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM systems and clienteling platforms
  • Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain logistics, and boutique operations best practices

Demonstrated capability in supply chain coordination, inventory optimization, and sales operations across geographically dispersed regions. Experience in high-value transaction management, luxury client expectations, and implementing brand standards across retail touchpoints.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Luxury Management, or related discipline.
