Operations Coordinator at Cartier Hudson Yards, New York. Manage boutique operations, inventory, and compliance in luxury retail. $28–$30/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and execution of all Cartier policies and procedures; champion compliance across the team
  • Coordinate efficient boutique opening and closing procedures, including daily setup and breakdown
  • Manage product movement in/out of boutique via shipments, transfers, and consignments while maintaining quality control and preventing stock loss
  • Demonstrate meticulous care and proper handling of high-value creations; execute appropriate packing, shipping, and receiving procedures
  • Monitor financial aspects of boutique sales; ensure daily transactions and documentation are submitted timely and accurately to corporate teams
  • Support transactional flows (ecommerce, etc.) to maintain operational efficiency and seamless client experience
  • Coordinate inventory control processes including daily, weekly, and monthly counts and stock movements to prepare for successful annual inventory
  • Uphold Cartier standards within the boutique environment, including facilities maintenance, vendor management, tools, technology, and equipment
  • Partner with client-facing teams to manage boutique supply inventory; oversee replenishment needs and order processes; support Lean/5S organizational strategies
  • Assist with care service responsibilities including client repair flows, execution of reports, and monthly inventory reconciliation
  • Partner with management to support boutique audits and implement corrective action plans
  • Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills in partnership with boutique management and peers
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and local/global community connections
  • Develop and convey Cartier heritage and brand values through fundamental industry knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative boutique environment by leveraging team savoir-faire
  • Embrace and integrate diverse perspectives; demonstrate transparency and feedback sharing with colleagues and management
  • Meet and exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous operations experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality industry is advantageous
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with technology
  • Proficiency with MS Office required; SAP knowledge preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with precision
  • Strong understanding of both internal and external client service needs
  • Collaborative approach with ability to foster united work environment and 'can do' attitude
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning

Experience
