Montblanc Operations Associate in Houston, TX: Luxury boutique inventory management and retail operations role, $21–$25/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain permanent accuracy of store inventory and organize weekly/monthly cycle counts to ensure stock reconciliation
- Oversee efficient organization of stockroom and floor displays, maintaining impeccable presentation throughout operating hours
- Receive and inspect deliveries from central warehouse, conducting quality control upon receipt
- Manage boutique communications including stock transfers between locations, commercial activities, and end-of-season returns
- Support sales floor staff and engage with clients when operational support is required
- Participate in morning team briefings to communicate daily deliveries, stock updates, and key operational information
- Process stock requests from team members with timely fulfillment
- Report inventory results, consignment discrepancies, and operational metrics to the finance team
- Collaborate with peer locations to share best practices and troubleshoot operational challenges
- Assist Boutique Manager in formalizing and updating standard operating procedures for inventory, cash desk, and security
- Execute administrative tasks including courier booking, delivery coordination, and inter-store transfers
- Complete store supply orders and maintain inventory of operational materials
- Ensure strict adherence to Richemont compliance protocols and procedural standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales, jewelry retail, or high-end luxury product environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems and operational processes
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced attention to detail with capability to work efficiently under pressure
- Effective customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to stand and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and unpack boxes weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
- Capability to reach, bend, and occasionally use ladders to access stored products
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by boutique schedule

Experience
Previous retail sales experience is preferred, with jewelry or high-end luxury product sales experience being particularly advantageous.
