Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute evening shift operations, including close-of-day procedures for retail or distribution facilities.
  • Receive, inspect and process incoming stock; reconcile deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Perform inventory counts, cycle counts and discrepancy investigations; update inventory records in the company system.
  • Prepare and stage client orders and transfers for next-day fulfilment, ensuring luxury presentation standards.
  • Operate point-of-sale and back-office systems during the shift; process returns, adjustments and inter-store transfers as required.
  • Maintain loss-prevention and security protocols during opening and closing; liaise with security or management on incidents.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams to schedule pickups, shipments and returns.
  • Ensure the evening work area is organised, secure and compliant with health & safety and brand standards; complete shift handover reports.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, logistics or vocational certification preferred.
  • Availability to work evening shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to pass background and eligibility checks.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with inventory handling (lifting, standing, repetitive movement).
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion appropriate for handling high-value merchandise.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in retail operations, warehouse/distribution, or logistics support; prior exposure to luxury retail environments or premium product handling is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in logistics, supply chain or retail management is advantageous.
