Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in developing innovative watch movements by defining technical characteristics that integrate specifications and cross-departmental requirements
  • Manage delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects, contributing to business case development and continuous review
  • Execute designated components of the development and engineering program, selecting optimal approaches within established systems
  • Research and interpret data, trends, and benchmarks relevant to horological product design to inform development strategies
  • Support data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and implement actionable insights
  • Deliver small project workstreams within defined time and quality parameters, adhering to prescribed project management methodology
  • Explore emerging technical developments and assess their potential impact and applicability to the organization
  • Support collection of business requirements through interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly
  • Create and maintain high-standard technical and user documentation with secure backup systems for instant recovery

  • Demonstrated experience as an unsupervised practitioner in movement or component design
