Richemont seeks a Merchandiser (6-month temporary) in Seoul. Short-term role focused on assortment planning, forecasting and vendor coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support seasonal range and assortment planning aligned with brand directives and local market dynamics.
  • Produce sales and inventory forecasts, monitor sell-through rates and adjust allocations to optimise stock performance.
  • Analyse sales, margin and trend data to inform buying decisions, pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate with buying, design, logistics and retail teams to ensure timely product flow and store replenishment.
  • Manage vendor and supplier communications for order follow-up, delivery schedules and quality issues.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for commercial review and stakeholder meetings.
  • Assist with ad hoc merchandising projects and local market initiatives during the six-month assignment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' professional experience in merchandising, buying or planning within fashion or luxury retail.
  • Demonstrable track record of commercial accountability—forecasting, assortment execution and inventory control.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability with experience interpreting sales and margin KPIs.
  • Experience working within multi-channel retail or with international supplier networks.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
