Richemont seeks a Mechatronics Engineer for Research & Innovation in Buttes, Switzerland. Industrialize and maintain innovative systems across luxury Houses.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&I teams on the development and industrialization of mechatronic and electronic systems
- Design and implement test and validation plans for innovative systems
- Collect and prioritize orders from Richemont Maisons
- Oversee system realization and manage subcontractor relationships
- Manage component procurement and inventory, addressing obsolescence and stock requirements
- Conduct equipment reception and ensure conformity to specifications
- Implement systems on-site and provide user training
- Ensure operational maintenance of systems and provide production support
- Analyze system malfunctions and propose corrective solutions
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Qualifications
- Diploma in microtechnology or electronics from a HES (University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in an industrial environment
- Demonstrated expertise in the development, industrialization, and commissioning of mechatronic systems with strong electronic components
- Advanced proficiency in industrialization methodologies, manufacturing and testing practices for mechatronic systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, manufacturing and assembly processes, and electronics
- Experience with PLM tools
- Knowledge of software development as an advantage
- Familiarity with machinery safety standards
- Excellent organizational skills and autonomous work management
- Strong communication abilities

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in an industrial environment, with demonstrated expertise in the development, industrialization, and commissioning of mechatronic systems with strong electronic components. Proven track record in managing complex technical projects and supporting production teams.
Education
Diploma in microtechnology or electronics from a HES (University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification.
