Richemont seeks an experienced Mechatronic Systems and Software Engineer in Geneva, Switzerland to develop and support innovative systems across luxury Maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and industrialization of mechatronic systems in collaboration with R&I teams, with particular focus on embedded software components
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing and validation plans for system validation
- Gather requirements from Richemont Maisons and manage system realization execution
- Oversee supplier relationships and manage system development delivery
- Lead software development initiatives and manage deployments within the Richemont environment
- Validate software development deliverables and ensure compliance with specifications
- Oversee system deployment and provide user training
- Ensure ongoing operational maintenance and support for deployed systems across the Maisons
- Analyze system malfunctions, propose corrective solutions, and implement remediation
- Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation
- Actively promote developed systems within the organization
- Analyze and incorporate user feedback for continuous system improvement
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with specialization in microtechnics, electronics, or industrial computing, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in industrial environments
- Proven expertise in development, industrialization, and commissioning of mechatronic systems with strong software components
- Demonstrated proficiency in firmware programming (Python, C/C++, and Matlab)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and software testing practices
- Mastery of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of embedded software, full-stack development, and API utilization
- General knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and connector systems
- Understanding of industrialization methods, manufacturing processes, and mechatronic system validation
- Strong communication skills and significant autonomy in work organization
- Fluency in French and English
- Enthusiasm for technical challenges in the luxury industry sector
