Richemont Material & Production Planning Manager role in Milan. Lead supply chain coordination and manufacturing operations for luxury goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets
- Coordinate material procurement and supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and production facilities, optimizing stock turns while maintaining safety buffers
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and sales teams to balance production capacity with market demand
- Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction
- Manage product lifecycle planning and obsolescence strategies for luxury goods
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in materials handling and production
Qualifications
- Proven experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management within luxury goods, manufacturing, or fashion sectors
- Strong knowledge of production planning systems (ERP, MRP, or equivalent software platforms)
- Demonstrated proficiency in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain analytics
- Understanding of luxury goods manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Experience
5–8 years of progressive experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably within luxury brands, fashion houses, or high-end manufacturing environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications in supply chain management (APICS CPIM, CSCP) are advantageous.
