Buccellati Milan: Material and Production Planning Manager, EUR 50–55K annual. Lead precious materials procurement and production planning for the Italian luxury jewellery maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement ex-novo planning process architecture, establishing standard operating procedures for workflow management, MRP, and production scheduling
- Ensure precise material requirements planning for precious metals, gemstones, and high-quality components, optimizing inventory levels with emphasis on risk management, supply continuity, and working capital efficiency
- Supervise and coordinate medium- to long-term production plans (S&OP) and detailed short-term scheduling, maintaining continuous liaison with internal production facilities and external artisanal workshops
- Master SAP modules PP and MM with fluent system navigation capability
- Monitor performance through definition and analysis of analytical KPIs including Inventory Turnover, Stock-Out rate, Service Level, and Capacity Utilization
- Lead, coordinate, and develop the assigned team, fostering internal skill development aligned with business evolution
Qualifications
- Degree in Management Engineering, Technical Disciplines, or related field
- 6–7 years of prior experience in this role
- Background in luxury, accessories, or high-end watches/jewellery sectors (preferred)
- Excellent analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making orientation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated team management experience
- Strategic vision combined with operational pragmatism
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Change management project experience
- Professional English language proficiency (French language knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with PLM systems, Power BI, multi-level BOMs, and BOLs (preferred)

6–7 years in a material and production planning or equivalent supply chain role; prior experience in the luxury, accessories, or high-end watchmaking and jewellery sectors is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Technical Disciplines, or related field.
