Marketing Manager at Richemont in Tokyo. Develop luxury jewelry marketing strategies, manage events, campaigns and client engagement for a prestigious Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local media and public relations strategy aligned with headquarters guidelines, leveraging local agencies and maximizing brand awareness
- Manage relationships with local PR agencies to secure qualitative and quantitative media coverage, including press clippings and celebrity/influencer dressings
- Plan, manage and execute all local events, initiatives and activations, including developing briefs and mood boards as needed
- Define and implement the local marketing strategic plan aligned with headquarters orientations and market specificities
- Organize successful product launches across all segments with proper stock allocation and communicate launch schedules to departments and boutiques
- Conduct competitor research and marketing analysis to inform strategic decisions and forecast sales
- Develop clienteling programs and client knowledge capabilities in collaboration with the Retail team to enhance customer retention and acquisition
- Prepare presentation materials for local department stores and design managers including product imagery and pricing information
- Assist headquarters Communication team in creating contents and assets for internal communication channels including newsletters and intranet
- Manage local A&P budget and performance metrics to optimize resource allocation and make data-driven decisions
Qualifications
- Solid marketing and communication experience in luxury or premium sectors
- Fluent in Japanese (native) and proficient in English at business level
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven marketing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex timelines and execute with precision across multiple stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Solid marketing and communication experience, with demonstrated success developing and executing campaigns in the luxury sector or similar high-end environments. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with retail teams, external agencies, and headquarters stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional qualification in luxury brand management or digital marketing is advantageous.
