Cartier seeks a Marketing & Merchandising Assistant Trainee in Milan, Italy for a six-month internship supporting jewelry merchandising and marketing operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytical reports on Cartier sales performance and client insights
- Conduct market and competitor analysis with corresponding sales reporting
- Develop, review, and update communications materials, price lists, and boutique collateral for Cartier locations
- Support the jewelry merchandiser in assortment reviews and inventory balancing
- Assist with daily merchandising activities and supporting documentation
- Contribute to the development of training materials for Cartier boutique staff
- Support cross-functional projects undertaken by the marketing and merchandising team
- Execute additional tasks in support of marketing team operations
Qualifications
- Strong passion for the luxury industry, particularly jewelry
- Analytical mindset capable of working independently on internal sales and merchandising analysis
- Creative approach to problem-solving and project execution
- Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory); French is advantageous

Experience
Entry-level experience in marketing, retail operations, or merchandising is not required; candidates transitioning from academic or early-career backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Fashion, or related discipline preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 900 per month.
