Richemont seeks a Marketing & Merchandising Assistant Trainee in Milan — internship supporting merchandising and marketing activities across Richemont maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the merchandising team in assortment planning, inventory follow-ups and stock reconciliation across channels.
- Prepare sales and inventory reports, weekly sell-through analyses and basic KPI dashboards for regional managers.
- Assist the marketing team in the creation of presentations, campaign briefs and retail activation materials.
- Coordinate with retail locations and wholesale partners to ensure timely delivery of visual and promotional assets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer feedback to feed into trend reports and assortment recommendations.
- Contribute to product lifecycle administration: SKU setup, price lists, sample tracking and seasonal range documentation.
- Support visual merchandising and store teams with layout guidance, display assets and planogram checks.
- Perform administrative tasks including meeting coordination, minute-taking and cross-team follow-up.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Fashion Business, Merchandising or Management.
- Strong numerical literacy with an ability to manipulate sales and inventory data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation capability.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable interest in luxury retail, product curation and visual merchandising.
- Eligible to undertake an internship in Italy (if applicable) and available for the duration specified by the programme.

Experience
Internship experience or up to one year of practical exposure in retail, brand marketing, merchandising or a related agency role; practical coursework or project experience in merchandising is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Marketing, Fashion Business, Merchandising, Business Administration or a related discipline.
