Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Richemont Bangkok—luxury retail finance role supporting FP&A and business control across APAC Maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage monthly performance reporting to ensure data integrity, quality analysis, and business-focused commentaries for Richemont Shared Services and assigned Maisons
- Monitor and partner with business units to ensure timely and accurate financial capture aligned with operational activities
- Prepare monthly management reports and initiate regular discussion meetings for performance review
- Develop variance analysis schedules with supporting commentaries for Maisons and stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with Regional FP&A team to establish planning calendars and deliver budgeting, rolling forecasts, quarterly estimates, and year-to-go projections
- Provide financial projections and assumptions-based analysis for business unit heads throughout planning cycles, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Group guidelines
- Execute Anaplan system inputs for budgets and forecasts, preparing regional and headquarter reports
- Monitor network performance and profitability; act as market expert to guide achievement of targets
- Evaluate new ventures (boutiques, offices, investments) via Capital Approval Requests, including 5-year plans, risk/opportunity assessments, and break-even analyses
- Drive financial initiatives locally in line with regional and Group direction, ensuring visibility and compliance with HQ requirements
- Monitor and track actual costs of investment projects against approved budgets and investment plans
- Support Internal Control and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal control requirements and regulatory compliance
- Identify risk areas specific to brands and collaborate with Regional Compliance Manager to mitigate gaps
- Participate in local, regional, and transversal FP&A projects initiated by APAC leadership
- Function as SAP Key User, primarily for Approval Matrix and Pricing maintenance
Qualifications
- University degree from a tertiary educational institution
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Experience in accounting or auditing advantageous
- Prior exposure to matrix organisations, luxury, or retail environments preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP and technical accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and financial modelling tools including Power BI and Power Query
- Exposure to Anaplan advantageous
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in financial planning and analysis, with experience in accounting or auditing preferred. Prior exposure to matrix organisations, luxury retail, or multi-brand environments is advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate strong financial acumen and business partnering capability across diverse stakeholder groups.
Education
University degree from a tertiary educational institute. Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA are preferred.
