Richemont seeks a Manufacturing Operations Data Architect in Moscavide, Portugal to lead digital transformation initiatives in luxury manufacturing operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, standards, and guidelines for the organization in compliance with ISA95 standards, leveraging GraphQL database technology
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models for manufacturing operations across all applications within the value chain
- Support and guide Solution Engineers in extending the data model to meet evolving business requirements
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across all manufacturing operations
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain high data accuracy and consistency
- Work collaboratively with business analysts, Solution Engineers, and Software Engineers to translate business requirements into robust and effective data solutions
- Support the digital transformation strategy based on API-driven architecture, event-driven systems, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity
- Ensure data models remain aligned with Richemont's manufacturing operations roadmap and architect guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree or engineering qualification in Information Technologies with strong emphasis in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and Data Science
- 7+ years of professional experience with a consulting background, ideally in data architecture, data modeling, or database design roles
- Demonstrated expertise in ISA95 standards and GraphQL database technologies
- Proficiency in modern integration architectures, APIs, and event-driven system design
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and customization in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Collaborative leadership style with proven coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to management, peers, and industry partners

Experience
7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, database design, or related roles, ideally with a consulting background and exposure to industrial manufacturing environments and production processes
Education
Master's degree or engineering qualification in Information Technologies with strong emphasis in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and Data Science
