Richemont seeks a Managing Director — Italy in Milan to lead P&L, omnichannel strategy and country operations for its maisons in Italy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial and operational strategy for Richemont’s maisons in Italy, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning and corporate objectives.
- Own full P&L accountability for the Italian market, delivering sales, margin and profitability targets across retail and wholesale channels.
- Lead, develop and inspire the country leadership team and boutique management to ensure exceptional client experience and sustained business performance.
- Drive omnichannel growth by coordinating retail, wholesale, clienteling and digital initiatives with global and regional functions.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders including retail partners, distributors, landlords, media and local authorities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial controls and compliance with corporate governance, legal and regulatory requirements in Italy.
- Act as the primary liaison between Richemont’s global headquarters and local teams, ensuring effective communication and implementation of group initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven executive leadership with a demonstrable track record of delivering P&L responsibility in the luxury sector.
- Extensive experience managing multi-channel retail and wholesale operations within Italy or another major luxury market.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and margin management.
- Excellent strategic and operational planning skills combined with a history of executing complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills at senior and board level.

Experience
Senior leadership experience of 10+ years in luxury goods, with significant exposure to country or regional management; prior responsibility for P&L, multi-channel operations and leading cross-functional teams is expected.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
