Manager, Strategic Projects at Cartier Japan | Richemont Tokyo | Strategic planning and CEO advisory role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and orchestrate the Market Action Plan and overall strategic planning process, setting theme, narrative and structure in partnership with the President & CEO and Executive Committee
- Provide structured analysis and clear recommendations on complex or ambiguous business topics; support CEO advisory and decision-making
- Support and lead selected strategic and Executive Committee-sponsored projects from definition through execution, bringing coordination and momentum
- Participate in and lead Executive Committee meetings and off-sites; own the annual management rhythm and ensure clear decisions with disciplined follow-through
- Connect and align boutiques, functions, Cartier, Group and Richemont stakeholders; encourage cross-functional collaboration on organization-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, international, intercultural and cross-functional environments
- Absolute discretion and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
- 3 or more years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm or equivalent in-house strategy team
- Full fluency in both English and Japanese
- Strong business judgment and analytical thinking with demonstrated technical proficiency
- Demonstrated self-motivation, adaptability and resourcefulness in designing high-value-add work

Candidates should possess relevant experience in corporate strategy, project management, and bridging the gap between top-level management and on-the-ground execution. A background at a premier management consulting firm or equivalent internal strategy function (minimum 3 years) is required. Experience in luxury retail or premium consumer goods markets is preferred and will enhance understanding of Cartier Japan's competitive landscape.
