Richemont seeks Manager, Operational Excellence Automation in Shelton, CT to lead digital transformation and process improvement initiatives across the Americas region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional operational excellence initiatives by partnering with business teams, IT stakeholders, and leadership to assess current processes, identify gaps, and define improvement opportunities that increase productivity, reduce cost, improve quality, and deliver measurable KPIs
- Develop business cases, project charters, roadmaps, process maps, requirements documentation, dashboards, training materials, and executive-level presentations to support operational transformation and continuous improvement programs
- Serve as trusted liaison among business teams, regional IT developers, and leadership to align priorities, remove obstacles, and ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, stakeholder interviews, training sessions, and change-management activities that engage teams, improve adoption, and embed continuous improvement behaviors
- Manage a portfolio of projects and applications development, balancing timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies while ensuring delivery remains on scope, on schedule, and aligned with expected benefits
- Track, report, and communicate progress, results, risks, and success stories to senior management through regular updates, dashboards, and presentations
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity, IAM, enterprise architects, and citizen developers to maximize business value while maintaining compliance and operational excellence
- Establish team development standards and design patterns aligned with Group framework
- Drive adoption of enterprise-grade application development practices and lead reduction of technical debt
- Assess new Microsoft capabilities and define implementation strategies
- Ensure alignment between Group practices and local practices
- Identify, prioritize, and sponsor opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and digitize business processes using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, workflow automation, and approved solutions
- Lead technical and operational feasibility assessments with IT developers, solution owners, and business stakeholders to determine the right approach for each improvement opportunity
- Maintain strong alignment with Group and regional technology teams regarding platform changes, licensing updates, governance expectations, and emerging capabilities
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to business teams to sustain process improvements, manage solution updates, and adopt standard ways of working
- Oversee support and continuous improvement of a portfolio of operational tools, SharePoint sites, workflows, and related solutions by monitoring performance, addressing escalations, and coordinating issue resolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems
- 3+ years of experience leading Application or Power Platform Development teams, business transformation, process improvement, or technology-enabled improvement initiatives
- 2+ years managing cross-functional projects and partnering with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver measurable business outcomes
- Experience managing a portfolio of initiatives through planning, prioritization, requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, training, deployment, adoption, and benefits tracking
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, user experience process mapping, root-cause analysis, change management, performance management, and user-centered solution design
- Ability to build alignment and influence to drive sustainable change across diverse teams and functions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce clear documentation, executive presentations, project updates, and training materials for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of business process optimization, workflow design, performance metrics, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement practices
- Experience with project management tools, process documentation tools, and service management platforms
- Experience as solutions architect for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and digital collaboration platforms; familiarity with data, integration, and automation concepts preferred
- Strong understanding of project governance, process controls, and sustainable adoption of standard ways of working
- Resourceful, creative, and organized with strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, timeframe commitments, usability, and attention to detail
