Richemont seeks a Management Controller in Thiers, France — fixed-term contract supporting financial reporting, budgeting and performance analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting, consolidating operational and financial KPIs for local management and group stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, produce rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
- Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), identify drivers, and propose corrective actions to improve profitability and cash generation.
- Control and analyse product and manufacturing costs, monitor inventory valuation and cost of goods sold trends.
- Support month-end close activities, ensure accuracy of account reconciliations and reliability of management accounts.
- Partner with operational, commercial and supply-chain teams to translate business activity into financial performance and to implement process improvements.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations for management reviews and project business cases during the assignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Proven experience in management control, financial reporting or similar finance function — typically 3+ years.
- Strong analytical rigour, numerical accuracy and an ability to synthesise complex data into clear conclusions.
- Good knowledge of management accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
- High level of proficiency in spreadsheet modelling and financial presentation.

Experience
Mid-level: typically 3+ years’ experience in management control, financial analysis or accounting, preferably within manufacturing, retail or a luxury goods environment.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
