Richemont seeks Management Accountant in Delémont, Switzerland. Lead precious metals cost analysis, inventory control, and financial optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost management and analysis tools specific to precious metals (procurement, processing, valuation, inventory)
- Monitor and oversee precious metals operations performance, including material yield, equipment utilization, and subcontracting management
- Supervise physical precious metals inventory, conduct detailed stock analyses and weight reconciliations, and ensure alignment with accounting and management data
- Establish relevant performance indicators and decision-support tools for senior management focused on precious metals tracking
- Produce regular reporting to senior management and the controlling director with comprehensive analysis of precious metals flows and costs
- Lead projects within the scope of responsibility, particularly those impacting precious metals management and valuation
- Contribute to budget preparation and forecasting for precious metals and their financial implications
- Analyze variances between forecasted and actual results, with emphasis on commodity price fluctuations, yields, and precious metals consumption
- Recommend corrective actions and actively improve precious metals management and tracking processes
- Ensure compliance with Group procedures and internal control systems, particularly regarding precious metals traceability and security
Qualifications
- University or higher education degree in finance, business management, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial management accounting (preferably in precious metals)
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and QM modules) and Anaplan
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud; familiarity with SQL or Looker beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent synthesis skills
- Exceptional communication abilities, cross-functional leadership aptitude, and strong anticipatory capabilities
- English fluency (B2 level minimum)

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial management accounting, ideally within precious metals processing or supply operations.
Education
University or higher education degree (HES/UAS) in finance, business management, or equivalent qualification.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Delémont, Jura, Switzerland, with easy access to Basel.
