Richemont is seeking a Low-Code Application Development and Integration Specialist to design and integrate applications using Mendix and SAP BTP, supporting its digital transformation and existing SAP ecosystem. The role is based in Portugal and is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable business applications using Mendix and/or SAP BTP, including services such as SAP Build Apps and the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
- Work closely with business teams to understand needs, translate functional requirements into technical specifications, and propose innovative solutions.
- Participate throughout the implementation lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment and support.
- Integrate applications with existing SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, and third-party applications using Mendix integration capabilities, SAP BTP (SAP Integration Suite), and other API technologies.
- Define and implement effective, secure integration strategies.
- Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for existing Mendix and SAP BTP applications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
- Serve as the team's technical expert for Mendix and SAP BTP, sharing best practices and mentoring team members as needed.
- Monitor developments in low-code platforms and the SAP ecosystem and propose continuous improvements.
- Write technical and functional documentation for developed applications.
- Perform unit and integration testing and participate in user acceptance testing.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- At least 3 years of significant application development experience, with a strong emphasis on low-code platforms.
- Proven expertise developing and implementing applications with Mendix.
- Proficiency in Mendix concepts, including domain models, microflows, pages, widgets, and integrations.
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) expertise is preferred, including proven experience developing and implementing applications on the platform.
- Knowledge of key SAP BTP services, such as SAP Build Apps, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Integration Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Good understanding of key concepts and modules in the SAP ecosystem, including SAP ERP, EWM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori. Expert-level knowledge of SAP functional modules is not required, but a solid understanding of SAP data and processes is essential.
- Knowledge of integration principles, including SOAP APIs and XML.
- Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Node.js is a plus for pro-code extensions on BTP.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Fluent English; French is a plus, both written and spoken.
