Richemont Logistics Trainee in Milan — internship supporting warehouse operations, inventory control and international shipments for a luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations including goods receipt, put-away, picking and packing for domestic and international shipments.
- Assist with inventory control activities: cycle counts, stock reconciliations and discrepancy investigations to ensure accuracy across systems and physical stock.
- Process and verify shipping documentation, prepare customs and export paperwork in collaboration with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Contribute to continuous-improvement projects to optimise storage, routing and handling processes within the distribution centre.
- Maintain accurate records in inventory and logistics systems and produce regular operational reports for the supply chain team.
- Coordinate with retail, wholesale and customer-service stakeholders to ensure timely fulfilment and resolve order exceptions.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and training sessions to understand brand-specific handling and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s/master’s programme in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to prioritise competing tasks.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn operational processes across the supply chain.
- Availability to undertake a structured internship period as required by local regulations.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships, part-time roles or coursework in logistics, warehousing or supply chain are advantageous. The role is designed for early-career candidates seeking hands-on exposure to luxury goods distribution.
