Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact between retail boutiques and warehouse operations, addressing operational queries and identifying systemic challenges through regular stakeholder meetings
- Ensure customs compliance and trade regulatory adherence, including management of duty deferment accounts, EORI registrations, and valuation procedures
- Coordinate incident response and insurance claims management; oversee all incoming compliance-related issues and regulatory documentation
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans for warehouse operations, ensuring emergency preparedness and operational resilience
- Manage third-party logistics provider relationships and external warehouse operations, including inventory organization, stock aging protocols, and facility standards
- Partner closely with the Warehouse Manager to optimize operational processes, including shipping procedures, logistics workflows, and labeling systems
- Conduct regular operational reviews with retail teams to identify cross-functional issues and ensure efficient information flow
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in customs compliance, trade regulations, or retail operations, preferably in an international context
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures, duty deferment schemes, EORI registration requirements, and relevant trade regulations
- Fluent German and English language proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with ERP or logistics management systems
- Demonstrated proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication and coordination capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups
