Role & Responsibilities

• Implement operational plans for production planning, procurement of goods and services, and internal and external distribution networks
• Manage resources and procedures to optimize logistics performance and identify process improvement opportunities
• Define and agree upon short-term production programs to align sales requirements with production capacity while minimizing inventory levels
• Identify raw materials and miscellaneous materials requirements and develop targeted purchasing programs
• Contribute relevant elements to the investment budget planning process
• Execute procurement activities within established supplier management frameworks and defined agreements
• Manage inventory for the major manufacturing site, following procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Supervise and monitor team performance to ensure proper implementation of processes, procedures, and achievement of defined objectives
• Oversee daily warehouse and storage operations, reviewing procedures and recommending improvements for efficient goods recording and organization
• Manage daily transportation and delivery of goods and supplies, optimizing procedures for timely fulfillment
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes and propose improvements aligned with broader change management initiatives
• Assign short-term work schedules and allocate tasks to subordinates to meet established timelines
• Provide coaching and skill development support to team members
• Monitor team performance and take corrective action to ensure quality and timeliness standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Proven experience as an experienced practitioner capable of working independently
• Demonstrated experience supervising junior colleagues
• Proficiency in operational planning and supply chain management
• Strong expertise in inventory management and warehouse operations
• Knowledge of procurement systems and supplier management protocols

Experienced practitioner with demonstrated supervisory experience over junior colleagues and ability to work unsupervised. Track record of managing logistics operations at scale, including inventory management for major manufacturing sites and coordination across multiple distribution channels.
