Richemont seeks a Logistics Operations Coordinator in Paris to manage international shipments, 3PL coordination and customs compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities for the Paris hub, ensuring timely movement of goods between suppliers, ateliers, warehouses and retail locations.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders and carriers; negotiate service levels and oversee performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Prepare and validate shipping documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists and export/customs paperwork in accordance with applicable regulations and Incoterms.
- Liaise with customs brokers and compliance teams to ensure accurate classification, licences and timely clearance of international shipments.
- Reconcile shipment records with warehouse and ERP/WMS data, resolve discrepancies and support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Monitor transport costs and service quality, produce regular operational reports and propose process improvements to optimise lead times and reduce costs.
- Support cross‑functional stakeholders (procurement, production, retail, finance) to facilitate order fulfilment, special deliveries and urgent movements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in logistics operations, freight forwarding or transport coordination, ideally within luxury goods, retail or high‑value products.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, international transport documentation and customs procedures.
- Practical experience working with ERP/WMS systems (experience with SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external providers (3PL, carriers, brokers) and to enforce SLAs and KPIs.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail and ability to prioritise under time pressure.

Experience
Typically 2+ years in logistics, transport coordination or freight forwarding; prior exposure to international shipments and customs clearance is expected. Experience within luxury retail, watches, jewellery or high‑value goods is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related discipline.
