Richemont Japan seeks Logistics Digital Transformation Manager to lead supply chain automation and innovation in Tokyo. Requires SAP, EWM, and robotics expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end digital transformation of the logistics function, including partner selection, implementation oversight, and technology governance
  • Identify and automate remaining manual workflows within logistics operations, transforming processes into digital and automated solutions
  • Develop and execute an innovation roadmap for logistics technology, including robotics, automation, and emerging digital platforms
  • Conduct research, develop proofs of concept, and build robust business cases for new automation and technology initiatives
  • Establish control and governance frameworks to ensure stability and reliability of technology deployment across logistics operations
  • Lead on-site implementation projects in collaboration with external stakeholders, automation specialists, and IT teams
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the logistics digital roadmap, liaising between management, central logistics, other departments, and IT teams
  • Drive sustainable process improvements and cost reduction through viable digital business cases and operational optimization

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain or Logistics operations
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end logistics operations and supply chain processes
  • Strong expertise in SAP and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Advanced knowledge of automation, mechanical systems, robotics, and IT hardware
  • Proven ability to manage both operational and strategic projects while coordinating diverse technical teams
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and results-oriented mindset
  • Native Japanese and business-level English proficiency
