Richemont seeks a Logistics Coordinator in New York to oversee transportation, supplier management, and cost-reduction initiatives for its luxury jewelry, watches, and accessories portfolio.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee transportation and distribution of goods and supplies, utilizing established procedures and proposing enhancements to ensure timely delivery
- Manage supplier relationships by adhering to supplier management plans and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Execute planning activities within established frameworks while considering dependencies on other processes and organizational units
- Lead cost-reduction and savings initiatives, implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct research using primary data sources to identify and analyze key themes and trends relevant to logistics operations
- Provide expert guidance on interpreting and applying logistics policies and procedures, resolving queries and escalating complex matters as necessary
- Support production troubleshooting efforts by facilitating swift and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of production-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and across organizational boundaries to ensure seamless support for service users
- Monitor emerging technologies, external regulations, and industry best practices to enhance operational performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience sufficient to handle most logistics situations and provide guidance to colleagues
- Basic experience coordinating the work of others
