Richemont is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in New York to manage international shipments, customs, inventory and carrier operations for luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for North American operations, liaising with carriers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, customs declarations and export control paperwork; ensure compliance with Incoterms and applicable import/export regulations.
- Manage warehouse interfaces and inventory flows, including reconciliation of WMS records, stock movements and boutique replenishment schedules.
- Monitor carrier performance and logistics KPIs, initiate corrective actions and optimize routing and cost-efficiency.
- Operate shipment tracking systems and EDI interfaces; escalate and resolve transit exceptions and claims for lost or damaged goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, retail and after-sales teams to prioritize urgent shipments and support product launches or events.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to streamline processes, reduce lead times and enhance security for high-value consignments.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in logistics, freight forwarding, distribution or warehouse coordination; experience with high-value or regulated goods preferred.
- Working knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms and international freight documentation.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS environments (experience with SAP desirable) and confident use of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing operational demands under tight timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication; ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners across time zones.

Experience
Minimum of approximately two years coordinating logistics, freight forwarding or warehouse operations; prior exposure to international shipping and customs processes is expected. Experience in luxury retail or with high-value products is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field preferred; an associate degree or equivalent professional certifications plus relevant experience is acceptable.
