Richemont seeks a Logistics Administrator in Munich to manage shipments, inventory and customs documentation for its luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day inbound and outbound logistics operations for assigned brands or product lines, including shipment scheduling and carrier coordination.
  • Prepare, review and maintain shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, export declarations, bills of lading) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Reconcile inventory movements and stock records with warehouse partners; initiate investigations and corrective actions for discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (merchandising, retail operations, after‑sales, finance) to prioritise deliveries and support product flow across channels.
  • Liaise with third‑party logistics providers and freight forwarders to negotiate service levels, monitor KPIs and resolve transport exceptions.
  • Monitor transport and delivery status using ERP/WMS tools; provide regular reporting on shipment performance and inventory levels.
  • Manage duties, VAT and customs queries in collaboration with customs brokers; apply Incoterms appropriately to shipments.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to optimise routing, reduce lead times and lower logistics costs while safeguarding product integrity.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in logistics, distribution or inventory control, preferably within luxury goods, retail or wholesale environments.
  • Proven competence preparing international shipping and customs documentation and applying Incoterms.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude for inventory reconciliation and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across commercial and operational teams.
  • Knowledge of logistics compliance requirements and ability to manage exceptions and escalations.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills; professional presentation and confidentiality when handling high‑value goods.
