Dunhill seeks Leather Artisan for London workshop. Handmade leather goods production, pattern creation, and bench assembly work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Manager in pattern creation and mock-up development for leather products
- Complete specification sheets and manage bespoke product developments and problem-solving initiatives
- Execute comprehensive bench assembly work including leather skin preparation, cutting, splitting, skiving, gluing, and edge dyeing
- Perform machine sewing, hand stitching, metal accessory fixing, and foil blocking to complete leather products
- Manage personal time in liaison with the Manufacturing Manager to produce goods within agreed standard times
- Assist colleagues in the team and share leather skills through training and guidance
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and comply with company health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Essential case and box work experience in leather goods manufacturing
- Proven expertise in leather working and handmade craft techniques
- Ability to manage time independently while meeting production standards
- Capacity to assist and mentor team members in leather craftsmanship

Experience
Substantial experience in case and box work and leather goods production using handmade techniques is essential. Demonstrable expertise in all aspects of bench assembly and leather craftsmanship, with proven ability to work to exacting quality standards.
