Richemont seeks a Lease Accounting Manager in Shelton to manage lease accounting and ASC 842/IFRS 16 compliance across Americas operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee lease accounting compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 standards across all Americas entities
- Manage the lease accounting system and ensure accurate capitalization and measurement of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual lease accounting journal entries and financial statement disclosures
- Reconcile lease agreements with accounting records and investigate variances
- Coordinate with Real Estate, Treasury, and regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate lease data reporting
- Maintain comprehensive lease schedules and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
- Support financial audits and provide lease accounting expertise to external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lease accounting or related financial accounting role
- Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting standards
- Experience with lease accounting software or ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in lease accounting, accounting operations, or financial reporting, preferably within a multi-entity corporate environment or luxury retail organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA eligibility, or equivalent professional qualification.
