Richemont is hiring a Learning & Development Director, MEIAT in Dubai to lead regional L&D strategy and capability building across the group's maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional learning and development strategy for MEIAT (Middle East, India, Africa, Turkey) aligned with global talent priorities and brand-specific needs.
- Design and deliver leadership, sales and clienteling, technical craftsmanship and service excellence programmes across multiple markets and brands.
- Lead the regional L&D team, set objectives, allocate resources and ensure consistent delivery and quality across the region.
- Partner with HR business partners, brand leaders and global L&D to identify capability gaps through needs analysis and talent diagnostics.
- Oversee implementation and optimisation of learning technologies and platforms (LMS/e‑learning), and manage relationships with external learning vendors and consultants.
- Create measurement frameworks and KPIs to track learning impact on business outcomes, retention and performance.
- Manage L&D budget and ensure cost-effective deployment of programmes while maintaining excellence and brand alignment.
- Drive change management initiatives to embed new learning practices and a culture of continuous development.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a regional L&D role, preferably within luxury retail, premium hospitality, or a high-end consumer goods environment.
- Track record designing and scaling blended learning programmes (leadership, sales, technical) across culturally diverse markets.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align multi-brand priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management and vendor negotiation.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience defining KPIs and measuring learning ROI.
- Fluent English; additional regional languages an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development or organisational capability roles, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership capacity. Proven experience working across the MEIAT markets or similar multi-country regions and managing multi‑brand programmes is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or a related discipline preferred.
