Alaïa seeks a Junior Retail Store Planning Specialist in Paris to support store design, space optimization, and retail operations across European regions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in updating and maintaining 2D/3D store layouts and micro-space allocations using AutoCAD and SketchUp under managerial guidance
- Prepare visual merchandising guidelines and execution packets for store teams to ensure visual standards align with approved store planning strategy
- Maintain organized inventory tracker of store fixtures, signage, and equipment across all retail locations
- Serve as primary point of contact for routine store inquiries regarding layout adjustments, missing assets, and fixture replacements
- Support the setup phase of new store openings, pop-ups, and renovations by coordinating shipping schedules and tracking fixture delivery timelines
- Compile and review photo audits from store teams to verify floor layouts match assigned construction drawings
- Update the transverse management database with precise store dimensions, square footage metrics, and category capacities
- Extract basic sales and space data to assist in preparing weekly or monthly space productivity reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking sheets
- High accuracy in handling measurements, data entry, and reading architectural drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French fluency is preferred but not required
- Portfolio demonstrating less than 5 months of relevant work experience
