Richemont seeks a Jewellery Development Project Manager in Paris to drive product development from concept to production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product development for jewellery collections, from concept validation and technical definition through prototyping, sampling and industrialisation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, CAD/3D modelling, gemmology, sourcing, atelier production and quality assurance to meet timelines and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation: technical packs, specifications, BOMs, assembly instructions and quality criteria.
  • Manage suppliers and external ateliers — evaluate capacities, negotiate technical feasibility, monitor sample iterations and ensure adherence to lead times and standards.
  • Control project schedules, milestones and budgets; identify risks and implement mitigation plans to secure on-time launches.
  • Drive problem-solving during sampling and production phases, including corrective actions for fit, finish, materials performance and gem-setting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements (materials, hallmarking, sustainability traceability).
  • Contribute to cost optimisation and industrialisation strategies while preserving brand quality and design intent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in jewellery design, gemmology, materials science, engineering or product development, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Typically 3–6 years of hands-on experience in jewellery product development, technical project management or production within a luxury jewellery or fine jewellery environment.
  • Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder projects from prototype to production, including supplier coordination and sampling cycles.
  • Strong technical understanding of jewellery construction, gem-setting techniques and precious-metal fabrication processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and deliver to strict launch calendars.
