Richemont seeks a Master's-level engineering student to design and implement an automated quality control solution for horological and jewelry components using industrial computer vision and artificial intelligence. Working within the Automation and Machine Vision team of Research & Innovation, the intern will analyze requirements, develop image processing and computer vision algorithms, prototype the complete system, validate performance under real-world conditions, and collaborate across R&I and Richemont group entities to deliver a production-ready solution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and define appropriate image acquisition systems for quality control applications
- Research state-of-the-art industrial computer vision and machine learning models
- Develop and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms for component inspection
- Prototype and integrate the complete vision-based quality control solution
- Test the system under real production conditions and document performance metrics
- Collaborate with R&I automation teams and other Richemont group departments
- Support the broader team on related technical and engineering initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's level student in engineering or related quantitative discipline
- Proficiency in computer vision, optical systems, and image processing
- Strong foundation in data science and statistical analysis
- Fluent French and solid English language skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience
Relevant academic projects or coursework in computer vision, machine learning, or industrial automation; experience with real-world problem-solving and prototype development preferred.
Education
