Cartier seeks an International MCC Data & Analytics Manager in Paris to lead strategic data initiatives, manage GCP platforms, and drive AI innovation across marketing and client data domains.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a clear strategic vision and roadmap for data and analytics initiatives within the Marketing Communication and Client Data domains, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities
- Identify opportunities to leverage data assets and analytics to solve business challenges, improve decision-making, and create competitive advantage
- Establish a comprehensive inventory of dashboards, identifying redundancies and fragmented solutions within MCC teams
- Design and oversee development of a unified data and analytics ecosystem to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and simplify maintenance
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust data integration workflows in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing external data engineering resources
- Lead the development of high-quality reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Looker, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely stakeholder delivery
- Manage and maintain the MCC data catalog to ensure clarity of data sets, usage patterns, and KPI definitions
- Harmonise KPIs and data structures across teams to streamline data and analytical developments and prevent duplication
- Ensure the relevance and coherence of the MCC data ecosystem in alignment with Cartier's central data office and group platform
- Drive identification, prioritization, and implementation of Generative AI use cases in collaboration with MCC, Data Office, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Lead the development of advanced predictive models and strategic simulation tools to quantify the impact of investments on key performance drivers
- Champion experimentation with emerging technologies, AI agents, and methodologies to continuously improve team capabilities
- Act as the primary subject matter expert and advocate for data and analytics capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with MCC internal business partners to ensure effective utilization of data assets and promote best practice sharing
- Partner with Cartier's data office to implement governance frameworks and support the group's data and AI strategy
- Present findings, recommendations, and project progress to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or data solution development roles
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role, successfully building and leading data and analytics teams
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Composer/Airflow
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (such as Python) for data manipulation and automation
- Demonstrated familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles
- Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into technical requirements and actionable data and analytics solutions
- Experience in marketing, client data, communication data, or digital transformation contexts
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environments

Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or data solution development roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management capacity successfully building and leading data and analytics teams.
