Richemont seeks an International Client Service Watchmaker in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland for fixed-term contract at Vacheron Constantin, focusing on watch maintenance and restoration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and restoration of watches within the Client Service Workshop to ensure product return in conformity with Vacheron Constantin quality criteria and assigned timelines
- Execute diagnostic assessments of components and coordinate preparation and quality control of outsourced work
- Perform disassembly and cleaning of timepiece components
- Replace defective or worn parts with precision and care
- Conduct assembly, regulation, and case assembly operations on completed movements
- Work with self-control standards and maintain quality assurance protocols throughout all processes
- Proactively identify opportunities for workshop environment improvement and operational performance optimization
Qualifications
- Complete professional experience as a watchmaker, ideally initiated through apprenticeship and supplemented by several years of field experience
- Proficiency with office software and digital tools
- Fluent French language skills with preferably strong English proficiency
- Strong organizational sense, efficiency, autonomy, and proactive approach
- Transparency and collaborative team orientation
- Interest in potential international career development

Experience
Complete professional experience as a watchmaker, ideally commenced through formal apprenticeship and extended by multiple years of practical experience in watch service, maintenance, and restoration within a luxury horology environment.
Education
Watchmaking apprenticeship or equivalent formal horological training; completion of post-apprenticeship professional development in watch service and repair is expected.
