Richemont seeks an Internal Warehousing Tech Team Lead in Meyrin, Switzerland to lead WMS and logistics technology operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a technical team responsible for the operation, evolution and support of internal warehousing systems and automation tools.
- Own incident management, root‑cause analysis and SLA delivery for warehouse applications and hardware (WMS, RF terminals, pick/pack devices).
- Define and execute the technical roadmap in close collaboration with supply chain, operations, IT architecture and external vendors.
- Manage integrations between WMS, ERP and peripheral systems (EDI, APIs, conveyors, sortation, label printers) and coordinate deployment across sites.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives: performance tuning, release management, testing and rollout of new functionality.
- Supervise vendor relationships, third‑party implementers and contractors; negotiate scopes, timelines and deliverables.
- Coach and develop team members, establish operational KPIs and ensure knowledge transfer to operations stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data integrity and change control procedures in a regulated luxury environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Logistics or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams supporting warehousing or logistics systems.
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and processes (receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping).
- Demonstrable experience running application support, incident and release management in an enterprise environment.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating cross‑functional projects.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years in IT or supply‑chain technology roles with at least 2–3 years leading teams or projects supporting warehousing systems; experience across multi‑site or international operations preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland, with easy access to Geneva.
