Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain internal control frameworks and audit programs covering retail, warehouse and distribution stock.
- Plan and execute periodic and ad‑hoc inventory audits and cycle counts; validate stock reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Lead internal audit assignments related to inventory, stock movements and related financial controls; produce clear findings and remediation plans.
- Coordinate with store managers, logistics teams and finance to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards and management reporting to track inventory accuracy, shrinkage and control effectiveness.
- Drive process improvements and control enhancements to reduce risk and improve the integrity of stock-related financial reporting.
- Coach and supervise cross‑functional stakeholders involved in inventory processes; support awareness and training on control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; master's degree or equivalent is advantageous.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, reconciliation techniques and internal audit methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead audit engagements and manage cross‑functional stakeholders in a retail environment.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in internal control, audit or inventory management, ideally within luxury retail, wholesale or distribution; proven track record executing inventory audits and driving corrective actions.
Education
