Cartier seeks engineering intern in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland for Quality Control Process Optimization and 3D digital continuity initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tools and methodologies to ensure compatibility of enriched 3D data with quality control systems, based on new 3D methodological standards applied by development and industrialization teams
- Define and structure new 3D methodological standards in collaboration with CAD experts and subject-matter specialists, ensuring seamless integration into quality control processes
- Ensure digital continuity of product data by promoting cross-team collaboration, eliminating information gaps and re-entry, particularly for quality control applications
- Deploy technological solutions around 3D to optimize access, interpretation, and utilization of models within quality control frameworks, including control ranges, correction matrices, and machine interactions
- Analyze technical and methodological gaps in 3D data integration within quality processes and propose tailored solutions for programming and correction of controls
- Lead and support change management by monitoring quality KPIs related to 3D data quality and control efficiency, communicating project progress and demonstrating value to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with orientation in quality, metrology, research & innovation, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering
- Organized and rigorous mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven team spirit, adaptability, and autonomy
- Proficiency with 3D design and modeling tools
- Demonstrated interest in digitalization of industrial processes and technical data management for quality and control purposes
Skills
Experience
Internship opportunity; prior exposure to industrial processes, quality control methodologies, or digital transformation projects is advantageous. Interest in luxury manufacturing and precision craftsmanship strongly valued.
Education
Engineering degree (Masters or equivalent) with orientation in quality, metrology, research & innovation, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with easy access to Neuchâtel.
