Richemont seeks Integration Engineer for Omnichannel Order Execution in Moscavide, Portugal. Own SAP CPI integration layer connecting Solace message broker with external commerce systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the SAP CPI integration layer, including design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integration flows and mappings
- Take over and support existing CPI integrations, ensuring continuity and reliability in production environments
- Deliver enhancements and new integrations as business requirements evolve
- Ensure Solace pub/sub interfaces are properly exposed and documented as Async APIs through Kong
- Collaborate with QA and Test Automation teams to maintain adequate integration testing and regression coverage
- Align with the Test Automation Factory (TAF) team to establish clear testing responsibilities across integration and backend layers
- Contribute to integration best practices, architecture decisions, and ongoing evolution of the Omnichannel platform
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of integration architectures, patterns, and technologies
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), including integration flow and mapping development
- Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and message-based integrations
- Experience with Solace or similar messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ
- Familiarity with API management platforms, preferably Kong, including Async API publication
- Understanding of canonical data model and contract-based integration approaches
- Self-driven capability to independently translate business objectives into technical solutions
- Ability to manage and support production-critical integrations with structured and reliable approaches

Experience
Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with SAP CPI, event-driven architectures, and message-based integration platforms. Professional experience in omnichannel, e-commerce, or complex enterprise integration environments is valued. Equivalent expertise gained through professional projects, personal initiatives, or self-directed technical learning will be considered.
Education
No specific degree is required. However, candidates should demonstrate strong technical and logical reasoning skills. A scientific or technical background is preferred, though equivalent experience gained through professional work, personal projects, or self-directed learning will also be valued.
