Industrial Maintenance Technician at Richemont in Grand Prairie, TX. Maintain conveyor systems and warehouse equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, material-handling equipment, engraving equipment, pallet racking infrastructure, and other operations-related equipment
- Manage the ticketing system and handle requests from the operational team regarding equipment issues or emergencies with the conveyor system
- Coordinate vendor relations regarding all operational equipment maintenance and repairs
- Change and replace conveyor components such as rollers, O-rings, belts, and motors as needed
- Lead conveyor housekeeping tasks including cleanliness, labeling, and organization
- Maintain stock levels of conveyor spare parts to prevent shortages and propose orders for critical parts
- Perform LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures during equipment repairs
- Maintain and organize the stock of tools required for line repairs
- Support the engineering team with 3D printer maintenance
- Manage floor visuals and maintain organization throughout the facility
- Monitor and communicate with operations teams to report conveyor adjustments
- Participate in training to gain conveyor system knowledge and develop troubleshooting solutions
- Assist with workstation, cart, and storage assembly for operational equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 1–3 years' work experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- 1–3 years' work experience with conveyor systems
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong detail orientation and ability to identify solutions to resolve technical problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships across all organizational levels
- Ability to work in multi-functional and multi-cultural environments
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management capabilities
- Team player attitude with the ability to influence
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of work experience in logistics or warehouse operations; 1–3 years of hands-on experience with conveyor systems and related material-handling equipment. Forklift certification is a plus.
