Richemont Industrial Business Controller position in Scandicci, Italy: cost analysis, production planning, SAP expertise for luxury jewelry & watches Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and analyze product costs including materials, labour, overhead, and variances across finished goods and accessories
  • Execute monthly financial statements independently, including stock analysis, provision calculations, and Maison-specific cost evaluations
  • Collaborate with Maison divisions during planning cycles—budget and forecast development, sales projections, production volumes, stock targets, and slow-moving inventory provisions
  • Serve as financial business partner to production, quality, and R&D departments, ensuring accurate month-end closing procedures
  • Prepare focused analyses on key topics such as cash flow drivers, balance sheet variations, one-off effects, and project impacts
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new financial processes and reporting flows

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics & Management, or Management Engineering
  • 5 years of experience as Business and Industrial Controller in complex manufacturing environments, or 2–3 years as an Auditor in a Big 4 firm
  • Comprehensive understanding of cost elements throughout the production pipeline from raw materials to finished goods dispatch
  • Advanced knowledge of P&L cost structures based on standard costs and variance analysis
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP FI/CO, SAP SEM, and Business Intelligence tools
  • Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel expertise (Pivot Tables, data modeling)
  • Fluent English; French is a plus

The successful candidate will be located in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, with easy access to Florence.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 40,000 to EUR 55,000 per annum.
