Richemont hiring Inbound Logistics Solution Engineer in Cascais, Portugal. Lead SAP logistics integration and supply chain optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, elicit, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for integrating internal warehouse activities with ERP LE with or without EWM, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration designs; collaborate with development teams, architects, and external partners throughout the development lifecycle
- Leverage extensive SAP logistics expertise to design and optimize processes, configurations, and data flows related to internal warehousing including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping
- Design robust and scalable integration solutions leveraging micro-services, APIs, and other modern integration technologies to connect internal systems with 3PL platforms
- Apply advanced debugging and diagnostic skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues arising from 3PL integrations with minimal operational disruption
- Define comprehensive test cases, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality and reliability of integrated solutions before deployment
- Serve as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, and 3PL partners, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles
- Monitor integrated solution performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on multiple SAP projects specifically within the logistics domain (SAP WM, EWM, SD, MM, LE)
- Proven strong debugging skills within SAP environments (ABAP debugging, transaction analysis)
- Demonstrated practical experience with IDocs
- Demonstrated experience with micro-services architecture, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and modern integration patterns and technologies
- Proven experience integrating SAP systems with external platforms, particularly 3PL systems
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes including warehousing, transportation, and order management
- Knowledge of EWM outbound, inbound, and process flows
- Fluent English

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working on multiple SAP projects specifically within the logistics domain, including warehouse management (WM), extended warehouse management (EWM), sales and distribution (SD), materials management (MM), and logistics execution (LE) modules. Demonstrated expertise in integrating SAP systems with external third-party logistics (3PL) platforms and designing robust integration solutions using modern technologies.
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. SAP certification is preferred.
