Richemont seeks an HSE Specialist in Villars‑sur‑Glâne, Switzerland to manage health, safety and environmental programmes at its site.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain site HSE policies, procedures and programmes in line with corporate standards and applicable Swiss and EU regulations.
  • Conduct and oversee risk assessments, job safety analyses and preventive measures across production and support areas.
  • Lead incident reporting and root‑cause investigations; develop corrective and preventive actions and track closure.
  • Plan and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
  • Perform regular HSE inspections and audits; prepare compliance reports and support external regulatory inspections.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and liaison with local emergency services.
  • Manage environmental aspects such as waste, chemical handling, emissions and permit compliance; support continuous improvement initiatives (ISO 14001/ISO 45001).
  • Maintain HSE performance metrics, produce management reports and advise site leadership on risk reduction and legal obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or an equivalent national qualification preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss occupational safety and environmental legislation and permit regimes.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence operational teams.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
